He has current math and physics teaching licenses issued by Hawaii State and Maryland State, AP calculus and AP physics certifications issued by College Board,  a bachelor of physics, a master of physics and a master of education (math and physics). He is a College Board AP Reader of AP calculus and AP physics, an AP calculus and AP physics teacher in Myron B. Thompson Academy,  an AP Calculus BC instructor of The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in Johns Hopkins University and an adjunct professor of math and physics in University of Hawaii.
