Week 1

Understanding Motion and Kinematics:  
Kinematics, including the relationships between relevant variables such as time, position, and velocit
y.

Week 2

Understanding Forces and Newton’s Laws:
Dynamics, with a focus on Newton’s laws and free-body diagrams.

Week 3

Understanding Circular Motion and Gravitation:
Circular Motion and Gravitation, focusing on free body diagram representations of uniform circular motion.
 

Week 4

Understanding Work and Energy:
Energy, focusing on energy transformations and the concepts of systems and work.

Week 5

Understanding Impulse and Momentum:
Momentum, examining impulse and conservation of momentum in elastic and inelastic collisions.

Week 6

Understanding Simple Harmonic Motion:
Simple Harmonic Motion, including properties and concepts related to mass-spring oscillators and simple pendulums. 

Week 7

Understanding Torque and Rotational Motion:
Torque and Rotational Motion, such as angular kinematics, angular momentum, and the titular torque

Practice with Mock
Free-Response Questions:
Review free response questions like those found on the AP Physics 1 Exam.

Week 9
