Syllabus

Week 1

Derivatives & Chain Rule:
Derivative rules and properties, with verbal, graphical, tabular, and numerical representations

Week 2

Applications of the Derivative:
Applications of the derivative and analytical applications of the derivative
.

Week 3

Limits & Continuity:
Asymptotes; definitions of the derivative, continuity, and differentiability; limit summation notation; and L'Hospital's Rule.

Week 4

Integrals and Fundamental Theorem: 
Antiderivative rules, indefinite integrals, and definite integrals

Week 5

Important Theorems:
Intermediate Value Theorem, Extreme Value Theorem,   Mean Value Theorem  Squeeze and Fundamental Theorem

Week 6

Applications of Integrals Part 1:
Particle motion, differential equations, and the accumulation model of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (FTC)

Week 7

Applications of Integrals Part 2:
Area bounded by curves, volume with cross sections, and rate in/out applications

Week 8

General Review of Variety of Topics:
Prepare and review for the AP Calculus AB Exam.

Week 9

Practice Exam 1
Study test taking strategies and practice exam.
